Easy access Pistol safe for home, RV, Auto...cheap!

While I was wandering around Saginaw yesterday, I ran across a Harbor freight store. Man, talk about a kid in a candy store!

Anyways, they had a neat electronic compact safe, normally $52.99, on sale for $39.99:

Its not fire proof, but for the price, I thought a good deal for an easy access pistol safe.

They have another model thats a tad larger, with a couple neats features, but it's $99 ( still a good deal ):

Thought I'd share the idea. I bought one for the RV, but now wondering if I should get a couple more for strategic placement of a couple pistols around the home.

Without fail, every single thing I have ever bought from Harbor Freight is complete and total crap.

I bought from them three times, multiple products per order, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

I have bought this one about a year and a half ago on sale then for 39.95 also. I have had absoluty no problems with it . The low Batt. light came on after about a month with the barreries that came with it. Replaced them with duracell over a year ago still works great. The best thing is you set your own combination.

I agree that they have a lot of crap I must be more lucky than you because only about 10% of what I have bought from them has been junk..

I too have had this safe for over a year and had no problems with it, I have seen the same safe with a different label on it at some of the big box stores for about double the price. Granted it is not fireproof or anything but it does what I need it to do at a great price, I probably open and close it once a day and it has worked great. Just my 2 cents..
