Anyone shooting this event? Im new to competitive shooting and think this would be fun. Any tips for a beginner from you experienced guys? I have a Glock 19 with meprolight sights, 3.5lb trigger, some rules I looked at online stated the gun has to be factory, is that so with this match? TIA

This is a Good Event, always a large turnout.

Equipment: safe holster, at least 4 mags, only allowed to load 6 in each, mag holders, eyes and ears, and ammo (Most shoot reloads).

Both Oakland County Sportsman's club and Fenton Lakes Sportsman's clubs run regular PPC leagues during the fall and winter months. It is great practice time and helps you be in better form for the matches.

Both Taylor Match and Oakland County Sheriff matches are excellent in terms of prize payout. Fenton Lakes Match is in mid March around St. Patrick's Day time frame.
