I got one there 10+ years back. I know there was a clerk there a couple days a week, however with budget issues I doubt if you anyone is there anymore.

I don't know exactly where you are talking about, but I do know that the Kent county sheriff's department on ball AVE. has PP's.

The Kent County SO has a sub-station on M-46 east of Kent City. I looked on the web site today and they say that that Purchase Permits for handguns are avalable at all offices. However called there 3 times today and got only a recorded message.

That sucks... Also, kent county likes to charge for a "notary fee".

Seems like a quick phone call to the PD would get you the answer you need quicker than on a forum.

Call the main office and DONT pay em for it... NOT necessary-even the 'notary' fee...
