I don't know if Jackson is home to any Bobbleheads who would have pointed you in the direction of "the constant noise that sounds like a war zone."

So how did it go? I wound up getting soaked and then burnt covering a ball game. Would have been 'sporty' conditions to be doing urban prones...

saved prone till after the rain and when it dried up!

we had a great class lots of trigger time and a lot of learning, one issue today was a mag that came apart durning a speed reload it had about 5 rounds in it and the base plate let go even with the magpul on it it was a royal ordance other than that nothing exciting ah yes a ball game! fun sun and woman! god bless soccer moms

To bad we didn't have more shooters for the wave of death drill.

Is that the inexpensive steel ones from Dillon?

it is sold by many not just dillion!

Now for an honest review of this mag! it was loaned ot another shooter had a magpul attached to it! during a speed reload it still had a few rounds left and it took a hard fall! and the floor plate seperated partially. no issue there mag was taken apart a stripped down cleaned and had a new follower installed right after then loaded and ran by me and stripped out of thegun and tossed to the ground! no more issues. this mag had been run for over a year now in several classes so it i was just one of those things and all my zserious mags are now hk mod 2 mags!. dave pennington and larry vickers jsut ran a hard charging class and every one of the students used nothing but hk mod 2 mags over a few days of almost no stop fire and dropping and abuse! not 1 magazine issue ever came up! my only respone to those that havent switched is this either get a couple or switch to mag pull followers and wolf springs/or saw in your ar mags! you current have on hand! to make then ultra reliable

I have the MP followers and ranger plates on all of my 30's now. Good stuff for sure.

Yesterday at training my AR ran fine while an M16A1 had some issues, probably mag related. On the other hand, being an old DRMO gun it could be anything. Both of the A1's in the team broke hammer springs within a few months of each other.

It was good to get some rounds downrange anyway. Too few, but I've been itching for range time
