Bought a Hi-Point 995TS when they were on sale for $209.00 at Cabela's. I have just been able to get to the range. Fun toy. I added the muzzle brake and flashlight from the Hi-Point site. The firearm shot perfect, had to adjust the rear sight down 2 clicks. Dead nuts @ 21 feet with the iron sights now.

Need to find a pair of them balls that was hanging off that Beretta 92F to put on this beast. :lollol:

1 BIG problem is the Pro Mag A3 15 round mag. They claim they got the feeding problem fixed from the A1 mag. Not so sure about that. That mag jammed until there was 10 rounds in it and then straightened up. I loaded 10 rounds into it and it performed perfectly. Add the extra 5 and it seem to push the back of the bullet up so the round would not feed.

No FTF or FTE with the factory 10 round mag. Go figure..... I know this gun isn't supposed to be defense rifle, and I didn't get it for that. It is fun to shoot and will work on the extended mag to see if I can get it to work without a hiccup.

Sorry to hear about the 15 rd mags. It's crazy that no one seems to be able to come up with a higher-cap mag that's reliable.

I know, that's why I bought the A3 version. I was told that they fixed the feed issue with the A3, that they had with the A1 version. Maybe, they just put the old A1's into new packaging? I don't know the difference in the two.

The pro mag 10 rounders I had sucked too. All I had to do was bend the feed lips out a bit and it worked. I would recommend taking measurements of the factory mags feed lips and trying to get the 15 rounder as close as possible. It might help...

I bought the same model and for the same reason (****s & smiles)
my life wont be depending on it, i hope.
can`t wait to shoot it.
people at hi-point said they can tell if you use pro-mags and it will void the warranty???
found this out after I bought two 15 rounders :bash:

Pro Mag A3 15 round mag, I had to tweak the front lip to allow the round to enter at the right angle. After that, i have not had any problems at all with them. It's still a fun toy. :coffee:
