It's good to get the youngen's spirit of the wild going , and not TN's version

Yes I agree, he hunted hard and earned what he was able to harvest. That smaller buck was his first ever bow kill, hes had plenty of chances over the years but you know how it is wanting the big boy, I was finaly able to talk him into taking that little four over the radio to get one under his belt, although if not broke off it would've been a six. He had a great learning year he was able to call both bucks in, finaly listened to the old man and quit grunting with the tube and just bleated with his voice and they both ran right to him, the excitement of his voice over the radio was as satifying as all the bucks I've ever taken myself. then the look on his face when I got to him will be with me the rest of my life. I'm sorry to keep talking about this but I am one proud dad. The kids are what it's all about.

Yea your son did a good job at getting his feet wet starting out hunting, I used to bow hunt all the time and really loved it, But after haveing back surgery I can not pull my bow back anymore and I refuse to use a crossbow so I just gun hunt and call that good, See the way I feel is any deer you take hunting is a trophy in the eyes of the hunter, I am sending you a picture of the 2 bucks I shot by kingston this year, The smaller 8 pt. was shot with 1 shot from my glock 20-- 10mm the bigger one was chaseing some does in a hay field and was shot useing my CVA ACCURA Muzzleloader so this is what I meant buy being super happy !!!!!!!!!!

Beauties!! my son has had oppurtunities before just waiting for nicer ones, it was just time to get one under his belt with his bow. He has shot bucks with his muzzleloader, so they werent his first bucks just first bow kills.
