Scott at Big River Leather (further known as BRL from here forth) sent us a sample holster for the Sig P238. This holster is an inner pocket left hand style holster.

The quality of the holster and care of manufacture of the holster is very evident. The fit and finish are top notch quality. No corners were cut to make this holster.
Upon opening the package from Scott at BRL, there was a little surprise of some candy goodies inside. Extra little treat to go along with the great holster was a pleasant surprise. The holster was packaged well, safe from any mishandling UPS carrier. Shipping was fast as well.
After using this holster for a couple of months I decided it was time to write a review on the little guy.

So let’s start with saying that the quality of this product exceeded my expectations. The stitching and cut of the material was superb. There were no flaws or blemishes seen. The inside of the holster was smooth and formed perfectly to the Sig Sauer P238. The inside was stamped P238 very nice and brilliantly.

The Sig Sauer P238 fit nicely and securely in the holster, as it should. Inside your pocket the holster flattened out and didn’t give any indication of a handgun in your pocket.

Drawing the Sig Sauer P238 from the holster was a breeze and slide back into place without a hitch. Removal was smooth and quick. The holster stayed inside the pocket nicely with barely a movement when being drawn from. It fit nicely in my pocket in a standard Levi type jean. The holster wasn’t overly big or too small. In fact you would think he made this holster specifically from a pair of jeans I had.
I couldn’t be happier with the holster Scott made for me. The holster exceeded my every expectation in the area of fit, function, and quality. With a few months of use in my pocket, there are no signs of wear and tear yet. Truly a great product at a great price!
Scott at Big River Leather is a true class act. Be sure to check out more great products from BRL and Scott!

Nice review....that holster is a classy looking sum beach.

Love those rosewood looking handles on those guns too!
