I had a conversation with one of my customers a while ago about magazine loaders. He showed up a few days ago with a McFadden Ultimate Clip Loader to show me. (yes, I know, they're not clips they're magazines)
I was not familiar with this product, but I was very impressed.
These things just plain work!
They are compatible with magazines for Ruger MKII and MKIII pistols and the 22/45 style, Browning Buckmark, High Standard, Colt Woodsman.
I will have these for sale at the Gibraltar Gun Show this Saturday and Sunday and they will be in stock in my shop.
Rather than me taking photos and doing an elaborate write up, just watch the video:

I'm on my second one now. Works great for my Mark II 22/45 and Mark III 22/45. Sure does make it easier to spend money on .22 ammo. :p

I watched a review on YouTube and the guy said he got it to work with the S&W 22A magazines by filing down a little plastic bump in the device. He didn't go into any detail however.

I saw that to. ANd That prompted me to buy one, and then pretty much ruin it....:tsk:

sort of a combination of "lack of info" and "over-use of presumed knowledge"..

Still want one, if I can get it to work...

Try to avoid the .22's that have a heavy wax coating on the bullet. Or if you use that type, give the inside of the loader a little mist of something like G96, or CLP, so they don't stick.
