I've shot a lot of reloaded lead .45 acp in a 1911 and was wondering if I can also shoot lead bullets in my new Smith & Wesson M&P.45 and be safe?:grouphug: :!:

Only as safe as you make 'em. That said, mine eats them up.

I have shot lead for many years. From 99.9 virgin in my 1861 Colt special model musket to "hard lead" in my less than 1000FPS pistols. Love the stuff. Have been blood tested for lead without any issues. Considering I use to cast about 10,000 .58 cal per season I don't think I will stop using lead anytime soon.:flag:
