Just a word of warning, had a doe processed at Bob's Fruit Market last week in Southgate. They state that they have 8 years experience but did the worst job I have seen. I usually do my own deer but do to time constraints and a little bit of laziness I took it in. Granted I may be a little pickey but it looked like they didn't take any care in the job they did. So if you need a deer processed downriver I would avoid Bob's. The best way is to take the time and do it yourself. You get less wasted meat that way.

I live across Dix from them. A couple of years ago I picked up one of their deer prosessing flyers and it said deer had to have the hide on it per state law, then it went on to say $10 for skinning. I wouldn't do business with them.
PS: this years flyer don't say that.

Any of you downriver guys need a hand, I'll be glad to help. I'm at Dix and 75 and do my own processing. We should be able to do a deer in about 3 hours.
