Sorry if this has been done a hundred times so far but I am bored and felt like typing! Here is my review of my Gen4 G26.

I thought I would share my G26 Gen4 experiences thus far. Had it about two months and put about 450-500 rounds down the tube. Shoots great; have had zero problems with it. They must have resolved all the issued OR I just got lucky. Picked her up from MPE along with a 33 round mag for dirt cheap. The rough texture does not bother me at all and I cary it daily. The larger mag release has never been pushed while carying it. Sights are plastic but I have put them through hell and they did not break or chip. I am yet to try the backstraps and find the smallest setting to fit my hands perfect! Almost feels as good in my hands as my M&P. Trigger is very crisp. I would recommend the Gen4 to anyone, anyday. It fits my hand better than my brothers gen3, I am happy I waited it out and got the Gen4. On a side note. Props to Griffen holsters; It is much more comfortable than my don hume (which I sold to a buddy, lol) It is one of the best holsters on the market. Great fitment and concealability.

Cliffnotes: Gen4 is great. Zero problems and I would recommend it over the Gen3.

Where is MPE? I went to gander mountain a couple of months ago and they didnt have the gen4. They told me glock wouldnt send any to retailers until all the new gen3's were gone.

MPE is in Charlotte. Some retailers have them, some don't, some have both (on target in KZoo). I have found the sub-compacts (26/27) are harder to find in Gen4.

Looks like one of those 2 finger high caliber grips. Can't imagine you have very good grip control.

You need a better imagination

It really depends on hand size. If you have HUGE hands, its going to be harder, but average hands its not bad at all. Some even say they shoot their 26 better than full size guns.

It is actually very controlable. I hit a beer-case box (empty of course lol) from 100 yards. I shot one mag (10 rds) and landed 4 hits. Granted I am not the best shot in the world but I think it was decent. I actually don't mind that my pinky dangles. Very little recoil out of the 9mm.

I have the new Gen4 27 in 40, and have had no trouble with it. Carries well, recoil may be less than some other 40's I have fired, I have the stainless spring guide in mine. Using a Ctac Minotaur and love it! Two fingers on the frame fits me, its all in what works you. Love my baby glock!

Williams Gun Site in Davison has had a good selection of Gen 4's recently, if your looking.

Agreed.

Love mine, no issues at all and dual RSA results in minimal recoil.

Two finger stock grip is not an issue at all.

Paired it with a Garrett Industries Silent thunder IWB hoster, leather lined kydex and the rig rocks.

The thing with gen 4 that I dont get is this. Why do I run into people that say that it jams and then the next person i run into says they have had no problem with it?

The 26 is good to go because it has been running the dual RSA since day one. Its the new RSA that has been contributing to the failure to eject issues with other Gen 4 9mm guns. I say contributing because it seems there are ejector issues as well.
