I used to go every spring, now I just go and watch em all swim around. I just went and watched them last night actually.

Heading to Bay City area this weekend. Anyone have an update for that area? Been cold so I doubt theyre moving.

Carp are in but this rain and temp drop will push them down. Some of the cuts have a lot of gar in right now. Best bet would be around the hot ponds.
Are you going up for the GLBC?

Not this year. Weve gone in the past and had a blast. Just stopping on my way up to Houghton Lake on Friday morning.

What do you mean by "hot ponds"? The shallow areas off the Bay?

Hot ponds are were the water comes out of the Consumers enery plant.
There just east out of the mouth of the Saginaw river.
