EDIT: Nevermind - I picked a different one out and ordered it.

Hello,

I picked up a good no-frills range bag, which I can toss a padlock on and feel pretty good about. But I am tempted to get this one as an alternate, as I really prefer it:

(I prefer it because I have the smaller version for my tablet PC and love it)

But, I wonder if it would be acceptable for the purpose, for one handgun (M&P 40 Fullsize) and 100-200 rounds, plus your range goodies such as ears, etc.

Would you think it acceptable? Too open?

What are you doing with this range bag that it needs a lock?

I have the smaller version of this bag, and it is very sturdy. Mine was 19.99, this one appears to be larger than the one you're looking at for a few bucks less.

I use a cheap "skater" backpack from wallyworld. Plenty of pockets and has straps for a skateboard. But they can be used for other things.

I have both the small and jumbo bag from L.A. Police Gear. The Jumbo bag is large enough to hold a normal size laptop . . .the smaller one, a small netbook . . .
