MGO will be attending the first ever Michigan Sportsman's Expo.

It is located in Clare MI.

2011 Dates & Times Admission (Public)
Friday, July 22nd
9am to 9pm
Saturday, July 23rd
9am to 9pm

We need your help for this show and advance our mission on the North Side of the state. Times are approximate shifts: WE CAN USE THE TIME YOU CAN GIVE. We have a double booth and will be seeking petition signatures as well as advancing 2A rights. (We need 2 can use more at all times): As of right now my self and Fox989 will be running the MGO booth all weekend. We would like to see some of our northern Michigan members turn out and help aswell.

I will add times to the days as soon as I can find them out. There not listed on the event site.


Friday:
8:45am - 1:00pm Mopedman, mpmgirl2701
1:00pm - 5:00pm Mopedman, mpmgirl2701
5:00pm - 9:00pm Mopedman, mpmgirl2701

Saturday:
8:45am - 1:00pm Mopedman, mpmgirl2701
1:00pm - 5:00pm Mopedman, mpmgirl2701
5:00pm - 9:00pm Mopedman, mpmgirl2701






As last year for every 4 hours worked, the worker gets choice of 1 year MGO paid membership or 1 entry in the MGO Gun of the Year in December, 2011.

That would be awsome.


This will be my first trip up north in 2 years(even though I have property with in and hour or so of Clare.)

Would love to be able to help, clare is only about a 20min drive from our cottage, but unfortunately I will be working both days...

Smaller show. If you are in the area Saturday 9-9 look us up. Mopedman put together a good booth. We are in the hoop building. Not outside but almost....

A few hats sold. Two of the new yard signs sold. No memberships. On a good note though we have out an entire box of gun locks throught the weekend.

There wasn't that many people at the show. About 30 or so venders and I would say less then 5000 people came through between both days. It has allot of room to grow. The people running it just need to work out the kinks. Mark has a full report on sales and what not.

From the show and Mopedman's work we have:

1. new MGO member: mpmgirl2701 who applied one work shift of the 6 she worked to membership.

2. 2 Yard signs sold.

3. 3 MGO Hats sold.

4. $15.00 received in donations for Packages for Patriots.

5. $1.00 B4K Donation (Mgo match challenge).

6. Gave away one case of cable locks.

Outreach to ??????? (probably about 2,000).

Received lots of petition signatures and gave out Safety and Membership brochures.

THANK YOU MOPEDMAN and mpmgirl2701. They set up, worked the whole show and packed it up! And from what I observed on Saturday did an EXCELLENT job representing MGO!
