Went out on Sunday 6/5 with my wife and my buddy for the only day off i've had in a while for some walleye. The weather was low to mid 80's with little too no wind........otherwise PERFECT!!!!!!

We started out in 18' fow south from the Huron river and trolled in 18- 22 fow all the way to Stoney point pulling crawler harnesses with offshore planer boards.

The action was steady all day with the biggest sheephead i've ever caught...it went 23" and weighed over 4 lbs!!! Alot of silver bass too keep things interesting as well. All the walleye were exceptionally big including this 26"er that weighed almost 8 lbs. Caught 11 and brought home 10 dandys. :gobble:

Good to know working all these hours that i havent lost my touch

Sounds like a good day. I've been on Lake Erie in some pretty rough waters and it sucks. Glad you guys had a nice day for it.

Yeah man the silver bass are alive and well. My daughter caught a Sheepy that damn near pulled her in the river.
Been hitting the perch by the 5 gal buckets everyday we have went out hard just bank fishing right around where you were of Point M. Just crawlers too.
Wife told me thats enough for this year already!!! So we started trading for Wallys... 3 wallys for a bucket of perch.
Crappie was good too north side of the park bout 5 weeks ago.
Some Dam BIG PITCH BLACK CHANNEL CATS!!! Healthy looking fish in deed!!!

Bout time we have a good fishing year~ and it is just past the beginning.

My nephew and BIL went out yesterday and got about 50 nice perch off Celeron Island. They tried planer boards for walleyes for a couple of hours but no luck at all. Personally I think the BIL has no clue where to fish for walleye.

I would say we could all meet in a local park and fish but after fishing at Willow Metro Park this past weekend I doubt I'll be doing much shore fishing this with all of the mosquitoes. Freaking legs are still itching from bites from 10 seconds on the grass. LOL

My son has made all the arrangements, but here's a pic taken last week-end from there......there's an opening if anyone is interested.

$450 for 4 max...one guy bailed on us so we three had to split 450 3 ways.
