I am almost do to re-new my CPL. I was wondering do I just need to return to the 1200 building as I live in Oaklad Co.

Yep, They will take a picture for you and you will get the new card in 3-4 weeks. You will also have to get fingerprinted at the Sheriff office for the last time.

Not necessarily, my roomate just re-newed last week and they didn't have to finger print him.

[8] Beginning January 1, 2007, an applicant who is applying for a renewal of a license issued under section 5b is not required
to have fingerprints taken again under section 5b(9) if all of the following conditions have been met:
(a) There has been established a system for the department of state police to save and maintain in its automated fingerprint
identification system (AFIS) database all fingerprints that are submitted to the department of state police under section 5b.
(b) The applicant’s fingerprints have been submitted to and maintained by the department of state police as described in
subdivision (a) for ongoing comparison with the automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS) database.

Go now, You should go 60 days early so theres no laps in dates.
If you wait till the last day, you won't have your CPL.ontill the
new one comes.

I did my renewal a month ago in Saginaw county and did not need finger prints again.Still on file.

Go to early and it will only be good for 4 years like mine is. Screw screw that is the game.
