So I finished up my summer job in Colorado and left yesterday, got back today. My cousin who is a firearm enthusiast (100+ guns) decided to help me start my collection.

Hey got me a Sig Sauer P220! And also all the info I need for the .45 conversion (that was what I shot most of the summer). I'm very greatful and know I'll have a lot of fun.

Do you mean a .22 conversion? Or did you buy a 22 P220 and want to buy a .45 conversion?

It is a .22lr P220, and it comes with a $100 offer off a conversion kit if you purchase within a year, and I would like to get the .45 conversion.

That's really cool. I knew they made the P226 version of that but wasn't sure of the p220. What do the kits usually cost?

Thanks, I'm pumped. The kit is usually $300. The P220 22lr only converts to .45 acp but the sig 226 coverts to 9, .40 or .45.

Never fired a Sig 22, but have a 220 in .45acp & it's a great pistol!
Better start saving for ammo, as the .45 is a bit costlier than .22 ammo..
You have a great start on a collection..( and to think I waited 30+ years before I got my first Sig..):boohoo: Joepistol..:pistols:

I kind of wish the Sig P238 (.380) had enough room in the mag well to hold .22 LR rounds then they might think about a .22 conversion for it also. Now that would be a cool and fun gun to shoot at the range with the cheaper rounds. It is already a blast to shoot.
