LANSING - Police say the man wanted in a playground shooting on Lansing's north side turned himself in overnight. That suspect- 25-year-old Trensio Mario Hood. Prosecutors issued a four-count warrant against Hood Saturday, including charges for attempted murder and possession of a weapon in a school zone. The charges come after an incident Thursday afternoon at Grand River Elementary on Lansing's north side.

Police say Hood shot 17-year-old Devin Donte Lewis, who is still in critical condition. LPD says they worked 'round the clock to identify the suspect and they took this crime very seriously, especially because it took place on the playground.

Captain Ray Hall, Lansing Police Department: "If you go on a playground, we're going to pour all of our resources to try and apprehend you. This is a zero-tolerance area, zero tolerance for the Lansing Police Department, but also for the prosecutor and for the community."

Prosecutors have issued four felony charges. Police say Hood will likely be arraigned soon.
