I shoot my Remington 1100 and Beretta 391/390's wet with Breakfree CLP. It works great. When done shooting, simply wipe clean and respray for the next shoot.

I use them both, but I have to say CLP does a litle better job cleaning. I do like them both though.

The test is inconclusive. She said she just sanded off the hinges. So you could have extreme differences in corrosion vulnerability even before spraying the hinges. This would also allow the tester to produce misleading results. The test is useless and proves nothing.

Both are "do it all" products and neither "does it all" as well as a dedicated cleaner, lube, or rust preventative.
They do a yeoman's job for light maintenance, and are handier to have around then a bunch of bottles, but neither are the best. I do use a CLP but don`t rely on it for long term protection, or when doing a good cleaning.
A bottle of Hoppes, a bit of Rigg or Sheath and a good oil will out preform any of the CLPs I`ve seen.

I agree Ol' Joe. I use them for quick clean and quick lube. Hoppes #9 kills them both in cleaning.
