What are your host guns while you wait for ATF approval?

I got a threaded barrel for my M&P 45. I'm now in the market for a .22lr pistol & rifle host.

I was looking at the Tac Sol Paclite uppers to replace my 22/45's factory and maybe a .22lr AR conv kit?

I don't own a .22lr rifle. :twak::hide:

I was thinking a CZ452/455 American, Ruger 77/22 or a Savage Mark II.

What do you guys have or are planning to have for your hosts?

For the price I do really like the setup of this Mark II:

I am getting that savage fv sr, I think is the model designation. Also like those ruger 22/45s with the threaded barrel and taller sights.

My first is the Walther P22 because it already had the threaded barrel, already have that .22 can on the way. My next will be threading my barrel on the PX4 Storm .45.

Clark Custom makes a custom threaded barrel for the S&W 41 so that will be my .22 pistol. For my Osprey I'm thinking about getting barrels for my Wilson Combat 1911 and my HK P30.

I use a p22 for my .22LR host. The short barrel means even the hyper velocity bulk stuff remains sub-sonic from the pistol. That makes it a GREAT host for .22 (more economical.)

For a rifle, to keep the round subsonic you must use subsonic .22. It's more expensive, and it doesn't cycle a lot of .22 semi autos very reliably.

For my 9mm, I use the Trident 9 on just about everything from 9mm Carbine AR, Glock(s), and my Beretta 92FS. I'm even toying with the idea of having my HK P7M8 threaded.
