Hey guys, just curious to how many of my fellow MGO members placed their order on some newly legalized surpressors? I've got a Gemtech TREK coming for my AR and a Tac-65 from Tactical Innovations for my P22 on the way. Nothing like getting a call at 8pm from a friend asking me what kind of surpressors do I want the night before the bill got signed...lol

I may or may not have bought a Gemtech Viper for a M10

I think you're on you own here. I'm pretty sure you are the only person in the state buying any suppressors.

Maybe I need to edit my post to say "if you bought or ordered a surpressor what would they be"?...lol

What Bill got signed?
Wow... Join date of April 2010 and you finally make a first post.

There was no Bill signed, most of us let the OP slide on that one. Our current AG has made a decision, and issued an opinion. Much like AG Frank Kelly(?) did about FA firearms. The Federal licensing will meet the requirements of Michigan Law, so we can now possess suppressors.

Correct. The existing law remains unchanged. It was just clarified / interpreted.

As for me, I have ordered a Silencerco Osprey for the .50GI. Silencerco is building my .50GI Osprey as a special order item that should add an extra element of delay. There is a youtube video that reviews the .50GI/Glock with the Osprey. Very quiet when used wet!

I have also ordered a 6" barrel for my Glock/.50GI conversion from Guncrafter who will fit the custom match barrel to the slide. I will still need to get the new barrel threaded since Guncrafter won't do that. I don't know who is a good choice to thread my barrel for a suppressor here in Michigan.

I also ordered a Sparrow SS. It can be easily cleaned after shooting .22lr.
