Not to nitpick but it is Jewell rd. for those who might be trying to get directions online.

Great event, last one outside for the year!

I attended last year and had a great time.

I won't be able to make it this year; my brother is coming home on leave and we're heading up north to do some bowhunting that weekend.

SeeTee and Johnzilla Thanks for getting the correction in. I have been off the board with a hospitalized wife who is now fine. THANKS GUYS!

Hope to see people who have good memories of MGO'ers gone on at the event.

I know John is no longer with us. But can someone provide details of what happened to whoisjohngalt? His passing was sudden. Thanks. ...John Johnson was a great guy, who left too soon.
The short story is that he died in his sleep. His wife found him dead in his bed the next morning. John was also an FFL, and a lot of us did business with him on a regular basis. But, more importantly, he was our good friend, and he is missed.
...Here's a photo of John at his wedding, just months before he died.

...And, another photo of unknown vintage:

...We have also lost James Vass, and Fred Mager.
I don't have a photo of Fred.

I will also be there with new MGO hats with the "No Gun" and "3-Gun" logos on them. I will also be accepting memberships and renewals. Hope to see a big crowd there.

Good time on the range today at HGC, Thanks Ed for allowing us to use the range.

I think I found out what was wrong with my CX4 Storm Jamming every round.

it was very Simple.......I'm a *******g Idiot.

one of the features of the Storm is you can change it from Right hand to Left and Swap the ejection port and and charging handle and Mag release.

Looks like last time I cleaned it I put the extractor on the wrong side so it was pulling the shells to where there was no Port.

I just switched it and racked 10 rounds through it flawlessly

Good seeing everybody! Another fun time with MGO people, large or small turn out does not matter and again the weather was great for this event.

There will not be too many more nice days to shoot like this outdoors, glad I got out for this one.

...I mentioned earlier in this thread that we had also lost Fred Mager (2006), but that I didn't have a photo of him at that time. His great niece "Lori" has since provided me with a photo, and his previous service with the 28th. Infantry "Black Lions".

...Scroll down to 2006 for Fred's listing on the Black Lions (http://www.28thinfantry.org/archived/www.28thinfantry.org/taps.htm) web page.
