Yeah, unfortunately, I will miss both events.
I'll be at Gibralter, Mt Clemens.

I'm sorry to say that the high power league is out for me this season.
I would miss too many weekends.
I'm not very happy about it.
Making a living sure gets in the way of having fun.

Wow, did you guys have spectacular weather for high power and 3 gun shooting!!!

I was inside all day at Gibralter (it's FREE admission this weekend!!!)
but my wife and I went down to the Detroit Fesival of the Arts after the show.
Great time! Nice crowd. Got to see (hear) Betty Levette. Fabulous!
Not rock n roll but that woman can sing!

spectacular weather for high power

several of us shot ahead. i would suggest if you really want to shoot the league (not necessarily WITH the league) get a hold of Tom Lehotsky (he will be at the board meeting tomorrow night) and get targets. you can shoot the matches on wednesday night with Dave Flanagan. he runs the outdoor ranges that night and will run your time for you. we had a couple of Grosse Pointe Park cops do that last year...

the reason we shot ahead was because we were down at Washtenaw Sportsman's shooting the MRPA State High Power Championship...

we didnt win. one guy shot High Slow-Prone and finished High Sharpshooter/Marksman...

Pounding headache all day but I had to shoot anyways. Did not shoot that well. But it was a beautiful day to be outside. Well at least I will have a good handicap :)

More practice!

Thanks for the suggestion, Dave!
I spoke with Tom on Friday and we will probably shoot on Wednesday.
