I'm looking for a Glock 19 suppressor Update.
Anyone add a suppressor to a Glock 19 Gen4?
What did you buy? Barrel / Suppressor?
Thanks

I tried 4 different suppressors and none would work reliably with my Gen 4 Glocks so I sold them and now I use them happily on my Smith and Wesson M&P9.

Any work, just depends on if it has a nielsen device and what you're looking for in price.

Why do you need one for a G19?

Please don't respond as to it's cool.

Just curious
I would love to shoot one, but
I wont be getting one.
I cant justify the $1500 for something so unpractical.
I can buy 3 Glocks for that price

Why does "need" have anything to do with it?

Why? What was not working? Was it an issue with the guns, the barrels, or the silencers? What models of silencers did you use?

I find it interesting the Glock wouldn't run unless the cans were all designed to run on fixed-barrel guns only.

Some of the Gen 4 glocks were having trouble cycling because of the dual recoil spring design. However, Glock has been replacing those springs with a newer, ligher recoil spring, free of charge.

My Gen 3 and Gen 2 glocks run suppressed with no realiability issues, FWIW.

This is a GEN 3 G35 with a Lone Wolf 40-9 conversion barrel wearing an SWR Trident.

The second gun is a P22 with a Gemtech Alpine.

You'll need a booster with any can on a glock if you want to have it cycle in semi-auto, but cans work just fine on G19's. I like Lone Wolf threaded bbl's in my G17. I'm also partial to the SWR Trident or the Octane.

I'd let glock get their ducks in a row before I bought a Gen4 gun.
