I'd like to get an integrally suppressed barrel for my 11-87. While this type of thing is available in the UK, Google has failed me for the US.

Anyone know who might consider such a thing? I'm going to drop Hughes Precision an email. I'm sure Red Jacket would consider such a thing (although I'm not sure it is good TV), but I'd rather not deal with them.

Two different patents related specifically to suppressing shotguns.

The 1187 is gas operated, right? I think you may want to contact Tom Cole at Cadiz Gunworks. Most of his bread and butter is Saiga-12 work, but he does make silencers for Saiga-12's as well. I would guess that his suppressors could be used with 1187's as well. Might be worth giving him a call. http://www.cadizgunworks.com/

sure it can be done, but with any suppressed weapon, a bigger bore lets out more noise.
I also question what the silencer would do to the pattern.
