If it's not in the NFA Registry, then NO. (Typically Meaning you should have a Stamped Form 1 or Form 4 for each suppressor.)

If they have no Model Number, Manufacturer's Name, City, State, and Serial Number, on them that are .003" deep and 1/16" of an inch tall, then they are NOT legal suppressors. I imagine there was an amnesty period back in the day for some of these older suppressors, however, I don't know how or if they are handling them at this point. These suppressors may or may not be Curio and Relic eligable. And I don't know how they would handle them if they are.

I would recommend you call the NFA Branch at the ATF and get further instruction. (304)-616-4500

Yeah, I'd call from a public pay phone if they're any still around.

I may be wrong so please correct if needed but I thought that you were permitted to make your own suppressors. If you can couldn't you run those old suppressors thru the same process thus making them legal? Still need engravings and tax stamp but I am sure its cheaper then buying a new one.

contact a class 3 manufacturer. they might be willing to just stamp their name and a serial # onto them for you and then they will do the paperwork and register them for you. it will take some time and you will be without them for a while until they are transferred into your name, but its the way to keep them legal and so you can own them hassle free.

They are likely illegal and I wouldn't touch that stinky pile of crap with a 10 foot pole! How's a felony conviction with loss of your firearms rights sound?

Geez, he bought them at a gun show? Chop the cans up or find a discreet way of registering them. It sounds like an anti-gun reporter's dream story.
