300 and 600 yard shooting was conducted today for the first time ever at Bluewater. Yes we shot in the rain (after all it does rain at Perry and you will shoot in it). There were 9 shooters and we all got soaked. Target carriers from Perry worked very well even wet. We had targets and all but the pasters were old and didn't like the rain (not to mention me glasses). There is now talk that on the last Wednesday of each month shooting at 300 and 600 yards will occure. I hope so!
OH yeah, the shooting lines were just graded out on Monday. Shooting off of dirt was OK until it started to rain. Then the shooting positions turned to mud (no grass yet) just like my shooting!:|
