Where is a nice place to take the CPL class near the Kalamazoo area. Preferably the lower the price the better.

One is off sprinkle, South west side just after kilgore.

the other is off Kilgore west of sprinkle north side.

Hope this helps..

I know of one on kilgore called Viper/C- Jet security. Never heard of anyone taking it through them though. I can do it for 100 bucks through them and rent a gun for 15 dollars.
Just looking for a place people have gone to around here, and might have some pointers.

The ST Joe county conservation club in Sturgis does CPL classes and are top notch.

Took mine at Viper also, the instructors are very knowledgable and very friendly. Highly recommended. They offer alot of discounts also, almost everyone can qualify for one.

Another vote for Viper, great job teaching, fun and SAFE on the range, and some good guys over there.

One more vote for Viper, Just know that the class is not geared toward self defense but more just toward the legal side of CPL, If you would like a class focused on the implementation of your weapon consider finding another class to supplement the class from viper.

I ended up taking the class with Viper yesterday. Had a good time, long day, but got it done.
Now just have to wait on Kalamazoo Clerk...

Southwestern Gun Club seems to have a decent group of people there. They have a quick safety class, then new shooters, and you can get info on CCW classes there. The one we took had two women who gave the safety info then we all went out to the range to get a feel of new guns. You might check into them. They have an indoor range for the cold months and outdoor range for the warmer months. Worth a look in my humble opinion.
