I've got a Dick's Sporting Goods safe right now- field and stream I believe... I'm just trying to figure out where the best place is to go safe shopping. This safe seems to be very poorly organized in terms of lay-out and if I can find a store with more reasonable prices I might look at replacing it. So where have you guys had luck buying quality safes for a fair price?

As long as you're willing to work with their non customer friendly hours...

to the OP, Cabela's, while a bit a drive has an incredible collection. dumbhams has some good prices, but apparently doesn't have a delivery service.

I see that you are in Lansing, if you can come down to Schupbach's in Jackson, you will find what you are looking for, we only have a few in the showroom but our warehouse is close by, and Matt (who does our safe deliveries), can walk you through all of the features of any safe that you may be interested in, and we deliver and install too!!!

Anywhere from budget RSB's, to the very high end fire and tool rated safes!

There's a mom&pop safe and gun shop in keego harbor about a half mile from target2. The owners are an old couple, very nice and helpful.

Depends on how high end a safe you want ... but Lowes carries several of the Liberty Centurion Models and their delivery fee is $50 (at least here in Grand Rapids it is). If you catch them on sale no one else even comes close on price.

I got my G26 from them, nice shop and good pricing, they accept a fair offer.

Nice used gun section as well.

If you need answers about a safe or want one set up for you I've always used http://www.smithsecuritysafes.com/ I had a custom safe, not fireproof, made for my business. It held 84 long guns and I don't remember how many handguns, in boxes, at a price that you canot believe. I did not get the fancy polished on it as I was using it as a tool, not a piece of furniture.
Great people to work with. And just S. of Toledo.
