I am the campus leader for the dreaded Chippewas of CMU. Perhaps you should check out this site: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Western-Michigan-Students-for-Concealed-Carry/281782418552161

Thanks man, I don't have facebook though. Looks like they are making progress, it's going to be brought up at the next board of trustess meeting.

They appear to have a pretty solid group.

I'm currently a student and although I am not an active member of our chapter i know there are a lot of Pro-2A people in the College of Engineering.

Go Broncos! 2009 grad here.

I was around when the chapter started (or at least started becoming more active). I was involved in too much other stuff but I know there were a ton of pro 2a guys at the College of Aviation. In fact there CoA has (or at least had) a shooting team that involved a lot of students and faculty including the Director of Standards.

I am a WMU student, expecting to graduate next year or in the Fall of 2013.

I was a CoA student, switched to GIS.

I remember in the late 90s and early and mid 2000s you could not have a pocket knife in the dorms, and i think they said they were banned on campus all together.

Goooooo big money public universities and diversity, unions, and all that is good !

Proud graduate, but the radical leftist socialists write all the rules.

Had an inlaw/outlaw that was a campus cop at WMU, he was of the opinion that police were the only ones who should ever own, let alone carry a handgun.. Really freaked when he realized that both his brother and myself carried.

It won't ever change on campus, very liberal board and views there.
It's a shame.

I am a current student here at WMU. Would be interesting to meet with a fellow MGO member that goes to WMU to talk about ways to carry here on campus.
