Got my Ruger sr40c today from Mike @MK Arms best deal around! Went to the range about 2 hours after getting the gun and shot 200 rounds 100 umc and 100 eagle with no problems at all. The sight seemed right on it was just my trigger controll that was off. Very little kick too..And cleaning the gun was as simple as can be just a pin and slide off the top . Very happy with my purchase. If my wife didnt think it was to heavy i would buy her one too. Now just need to find a nice holster.

Nice! Does it still have the VERY light trigger pull like the sr9c does/did?

Nice gun. If Ruger made the SR9c without a thumb safety, I would own one.

What made you pick the all black version instead of the stainless slide?

I have the stainless slide model (bought it when they came out, they were so hard to find that I decided to buy whichever varient I found; I like both finishes equally) It is my heavy/winter carry and I love it. Never an issue with it. Congrats.

I went all black for concealed carry didn't want any shine. I bought my mom a Sr9 ss for Christmas and I don't really like the look. But that's why we have choices

Congrats, been eyeing one because I am so happy with my SR9c but want to be able to leave that home for the wife. With 3 little kids the wife really likes the thumb safety. All black here for the same reason.

I went with the Little Foxx IWB http://foxxholsters.onlybusiness.com/OnlineCatalog/Little_FoxX__for_Rugers-details.aspx Inexpensive, good quality and local guy, Warren I believe. Just got my CPL so have only used it a few times but I like it thus far.

Enjoy.

I have SR9c and love it. I kind of want a full size version. I looked at an SR45 the other day and was kinda diggin' it. I'm leaning towards the stainless for a full size. My SR9c is the all black model.

They have great triggers and feel good in the hand for me. I do despise that huge lci on it..

If you really hate it that much galloway precision carried a LCI delete kit for a while. I checked just now and didn't see it listed so I emailed eric there to see if they still make it. I'll let you know what I hear as soon as I hear back.
