Went our for my first steelhead trip yesterday. What a blast. Just what I need....another fishing addiction. I guess there are worse addictions.

Yep, those fish are incredible fighters. We released everything we caught. I like them baked too. good stuff.

Nice fish. I was wading the White a couple days ago and had a couple on about that size. Fun stuff!

We landed 4 between the 3 of us and had lots of hits that got loose. 3 of those fish were 4-5lb range, the other was around 8 1/2lbs. I was just considering buying a 16ft deep V for walleye fishing....then my buddy invites me out to partake in his addiction. Now I have to re-think what I want for a boat.

I'll be up on either the Big Manistee or the Pere Marquette on Friday and Saturday looking for a few.
