My SIL lives along Lake Chapin off of Snow Rd in Berrien Springs and he has been having good luck with finding themthus far; had some soup made with them the other day and we put a few in a gravy for dinner with some friends. :D

Glad to hear people are finding some, I know I'm in the right spots with aspen, dead elm, and ash. Lots of may apples and those fiddle fern things. Anybody from Genesee county or more north find any? From the posts it sounds like the SW side is doing well.

Saute dandelion buds in garlic and butter

Boil the buds for a few minutes, butter and serve

Batter and fry the flowerlets

Dandelion greens are found in many pre-packaged salad mixes

Roots are used also for tea.

People make a strong dandelion wine.

Other people poison and kill them off.

I have some salmon soaking in milk, I'll rinse it in water, then I'll soak it in some Italian Dressing, and grill it later.
