It's called the "Econo-Can." It is sold by Cadiz Gunworks. Cost is $75 for the one registered as a suppressor. They are also avaialbe for cleaning guns to be used as a solvent trap.

Adco has one they use for demos. It's really quite effective.

How do these work? Do you have to have the threaded barrel still?

From me and my 11 year old son;

That was wickedly awsome!!!!

What is the answer to the thread barrel question? If we go to ADCO can we look at it there RJ? I would love to get one for Theo's 10/22.

Yes, it's an adapter from your threaded barrel to a threaded oil filter.

Give me a call. Bring Theo out to the house and you can shoot it.

kinda cool, but it blocks the sights, not cool but for 75 bucks what do you expect....
On a side note, take an M-4, drop in a .22lr conversion and it is as quiet (or better) as the 10/22 they shot....

That's really cool but ugly as sin at the same time.
This is something that every bubba and mall ninja with an extra $275 will buy.

That's kinda cool! I don't know if it's really $275 cool, but hey.

It looks like the sights might actually be functional on an AK platform.

Who sells the solvent trap version? That would be a great thing for cleaning guns in the house.

Just make sure you change the filter every 3,000 mile....er, rounds for steel frame firearms and 15,000 rounds for synthetic frames :tsk:
