While it's not a gun or a weapon it is a NFA Regulated Item, just checking. Doesn't hurt to ask the question.

Oh and I don't have a holster shop, that is a buddy of mine.

It does not hurt to ask, yet the converse could.

The salient portion of the law specifies "pistol", so I believe that disclosure of a pistol is the only requirement:

(3) An individual licensed under this act to carry a concealed pistol and who is carrying a concealed pistol and who is stopped by a peace officer shall immediately disclose to the peace officer that he or she is carrying a pistol concealed upon his or her person or in his or her vehicle.

MCL 28.425f (http://legislature.mi.gov/doc.aspx?mcl-28-425f)

Of course the the proper disclaimer: IANAL, YMMV, etc.
