HH, how heavy it that? Do you notice it?
It's well balanced, not too terribly nose-heavy as it only weighs just over 11 ounces. Outside parts are aluminum. Still shoots to where the red dot appears as it goes by the slab-sided can.
Chronographed it with and without the suppressor. Surprised that the velocity went up about 60 fps with the can.

I disagree. You absolutely need to re-thread the MAC barrels. Either that or have some way to secure the can to the barrel such as Gemtech does with the Viper's mount.
Otherwise you can plan on the can working loose and you will get baffle strikes. It's not such an issue with a fine thread pitch, as the threads will keep the can pretty well aligned even when loose.
The coarse threads used on the MAC series of subguns are terrible for suppressors. Not only do they loosen easier, but as soon as they do the can is immediately misaligned.
I don't even have a can with MAC threads any more, otherwise I'd post something illustrating what I'm talking about. What I have done is to have the end of the barrel threaded 1/2-28 for 9mm, and if I still had a .45 caliber MAC I would go 5/8-24 or something similar. That way I have a fine pitch thread to use. I haven't had a baffle strike since I did this.
Here's one of the original baffles and the endcap from one of my cans. This was after some extensive shooting with the MAC10/45. The can has since been rebuilt.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/GarrettJ/DSC02034.jpg
And here's what I mean about threading the barrel. The stock barrel is in the upper, while the double-threaded barrel is on the right. Use the fine threads and don't use the MAC threads.

There is a reason Bowers sells the griptastic covers for his cans. IF you're going to shoot a can using mac threads, you better keep a hold of the can to keep it from rotating loose. Keep re-tightening it regularly. GarettJ is right, you're better off just getting some standard less course threads.

Before moving to MI, the AR upper lived on an SBR lower. Much more useable in that configuration.

Is that a Gemtech Alpine? I highly recommend getting yourself some copper anti-seize and coat the baffles with it. Works great at helping you get the can apart again after all that dirty .22 ammo.

I have had it on my 308 700 PSS (sounds like 22 mag), M4 5.56, (sounds like 22LR supersonic) and 300 black, sounds like low power bb gun, not really a firearm noise, more like stapler. Shockingly efficient on 300 black, really impressive, videos do not do it justice.

Yeah, it works well.
Still not earsafe on 308 from inside a building but a few shots without muffs were fine. You can load subsonic but this is 1/12 bbl, limits to 180gr.

The PX4 with the rotating barrel has a tendency loosen the barrel from the suppressor. Make sure you keep a good eye on it when shooting it suppressed.

For posterity sake, here is another Ruger Mark III 22/45 with the SS Spaarow. From seeing pictures on here I know this is a popular combo. Been 100% reliable for ~100 rounds and was also reliable on my dedicated 22LR AR upper. I just need to find some standard velocity ammo for the rifle.
On the pistol there is FRP but every shot thereafter is nice and quiet. I am very pleased.

New shot of the Sparrow on my 22/45 LITE, and as soon as my Savage Mk2 comes back from being threaded, i'll get that posted.
Like others have said, the sparrow has a bit of FRP, but i have found that a quick splash of H2O eliminates that issue, and is totally safe to do as well. I have shot this on the LITE, and SIG 1911-22, and a S&W M&P15-22, and al have functioned quietly and excellently with a broad selection of ammo, everything from Federal Bulk box, Wolf Match, Federal Blue box, Remington and Aguila Subs. Next I'm thinking of an AAC Ti-Rant but that will have to wait, no pun intended.

Jealous
Don't be, this one is not mine, we just borrowed my SCAR for the day. Me and my buddies all bought some Surefire's back a while ago. One bought the Mini "Monster" which is Mini size but with 'teeth' on the end. He finally got his form 4 and picked it up from the great guys at GB2 Tactical this past week. We shot it for the first time this morning.
Worked well for suppression but not as much as my 556-212.
But hell, this thing has TEETH!

I'm more jealous of the HK than the suppressor! I've LOVE one of those old school HK's. I've currently only got the HK P30 9mm, HK45C and HK45CT.
I want one of those and the HK4 with at lease the .22LR conversion!
