For too many years, the long guns lived in the corner of a closet and the handguns, ammo, and cleaning supplies were here and there throughout the house. It was time to get better organized. The one we got isn't too fancy, but serves the purpose well: Stack-On Elite 24 gun safe (http://www.stack-on.com/categories/elite-safes/products/231). Of course not all the guns will be locked up. Some will be kept handy, just in case.
It was delivered to the driveway by freight truck then moved into the house with the help of a couple relatives. 448 pounds sure is heavy on a hot and humid day!
