Appleseed Instructors will be busy on July 7 & 8 with two events in Michigan.
The Bend in the River Sportsman's Club is sponsoring Appleseed in Niles. See Pitmaster's post. Free BBQ lunch at that one (Pitmaster's name is pitmaster for a reason).
Centerline Gun Club in Bellevue (out by Battle Creek) is sponsoring our other Appleseed that weekend. Certerline is a very friendly range and always treats us well.

Appleseed is not only a great way to tune up your rifle shooting skills no matter what level you are at, it is great family vacation activity. Where else can spend time with your kids/spouse/significant other in a safe controlled environment AND LEARN TO SHOOT RIFLES TOGETHER? Not to mention the stories, the history, the fun, the memories.
Heck, come by yourself and you are sure to make friends. It's like going to an adventure camp. We turn out competent, confident and safe riflemen, women and kids.
BTW, the rest of July is packed with Appleseed events
Brooklyn (out by Irish Hills) on July 21/22 (sounds like a great vacation weekend location)
A rare Friday/Saturday event at Lapeer is sold out on July 27/28
Fenton is on the same weekend but Sat/Sun July 28/29 and there are some slot still open for that one.
