View Full Version : 1st light walleye bite was hot

Woke up at 1st light this morning and had coffee watching the sun rise waiting on my fishing partner. The walleye bite was hot. Kept these 10 and threw back another 8 sub legal fish for next year

Lake Erie 22-24' straight out from sterling state park. pink panties, purple, and copper crawler harnesses were the ticket

Nice haul! I was out there sunday as well. Did not do nearly as well (7), but also caught some the day before smallie fishing along the north shore in canadian waters with crankbaits. that was a pleasant surprise.

I have a few friends who troll hot -n -tots in 10 fow water in the river etc and crush walleye / bass
