Lake Erie Wednesday

Went to the same area we fished Monday. Hooked up with a walleye right of the bat a steelie and this sheepshead. Yup we get them too and just figured I would share it.

We the got into some decent sized walleyes. Here is my dad with one of his.

Here are a couple more that came in pretty tight. We had to leave on rod in the holder while we netted the first one.

We fish normally until we get a limit the quit or a set time. Today we got the walleyes but the steelhead had moved on us. With walleyes this size I was not willing to leave them and go search. Nothing wrong to me with a live well full of walleyes.

Pulling number 0 dipseys and using standard size trolling spoons. Colors vary day to day.

That is awesome as much as I love steelheads I would love walleye fishing. Wish I could get out for a day or a bit.

Thanks guys these were some nice fish. Picked up more after this trip but took no pictures. Right now the lake is messed up and fishing has slowed way down. Fish scattered or moved way out for better water temps.
