the sad part about this is they were experienced fisherman. the wave report was for 7 ft waves. ????????????????? i have fished ludington for 30 years . i am not talking about one or two weekends a year. i fished almost every weekend and vacations from may to the first of oct. in the last couple of years more and more boats have disreguareded weather warnings. big sable pt is a nine mile run from ludington harbor and no place to duck into. i am sure we will never know what caused this tragidty. loss of power, roge wave, or mother nature on a rampage. i have read that if they had to leave this life this is the way they would choose. im not sure about that. drowning in a boating accident does not apeal to me. a hart attact fighting a fish may be. not dying in a storm. sorry just me. DON'T TEMPT MOTHER NATURE.

This happens all to often... Man has to know his limitations. I'm with you.. drowning doesn't sound like the way I want to go...
