next best arm to 300 acc blackout?

since the "honey badger" is an SBR and i cant get it in michigan was wondering what would be my next closest option in shooting 300 blck?

was looking at this maybe getting an ar variant or so?

i would love to customize it like he did/get it as close to the 300 acc black as i could but was wondering other peoples personal preferences or opinions on the matter.

I noticed the first one had the pistol length gas tube, which is not required for running 300 Blk in a 16" barrel, or when using supersonic ammo, at least that has been my experience. CMMG has a chart that helps better explain it. I currently have two 300 Blk setups that I very much enjoy. The first is a CMMG upper with pleanty of extras and the seconds in an AR pistol which an 8.5" CMMG barrel (Pistol gas length) and just about everything else is a different brand LOL. You can do just as much with a 300 Blk AR that you can with a 5.56 AR. I'd say get a basic model and just start changing it up!

I'll bet you could get a Honey Badger with a 16" barrell. I love the slide out stock on the H.B.

Building an AR pistol would be a LOT cheeper!

I was just thinking about the HB! I want to make a upper with a 10" barrel, but get a AAC suppressor that I was reading about in thier catalog and get it pinned and welded to get my legal length. Does anyone know if you can pin and weld a suppressor like a flash hider to get the right length and be legal?

You can, but it's not really cost effective. I made a 9mm AR barrel with a 1.65 ID tubular flash hider pinned and welded to the end of the barrel. The suppressor fits UNDER this perm attached muzzle device and you can still remove the suppressor and use on different hosts.
