Looking for a public place outside of Grand Rapids to go river fishing from shore for salmon during the run or for trout. Any places that you know of that dont get too crowded? Thankls for any info or directions that you can provide!!

Yes. The Rogue River Dam at Rockford I hear is good. That's an unmentionable on another forum, so it must be good.

White River dam in Hesperia is good. Anyplace downstream of that as well.
