I've been carrying my new Shepard Custom Concealment Holster for about a week now.
To begin
From seeing the progress of it being made to receiving and even after the service that is provided is top notch. I know a lot of people will be shocked and happy with the great communication and walk thru of the making of their holster. When you compare to a typical online checkout without any communication with the retailer. Turn around was less than a week from placing the order. Comparing to my other holsters taking a month or even four months to arrive less than a week is super fast for a quality holster!
Inspection
I love my Raven holster also and have carried a Raven with several guns. When I received the holster I inspected it side by side with my other holsters. The craftsmanship is at the same level as my high dollar Raven. One thing that does stand out is the custom options that is given. Heck look at mine :) Everyone including myself like quality but also sometimes would like to try something different or even something that stands out.

Carrying for a Glock 23
The gun fit perfectly in the holster with no adjustments needed. The draw felt comfortable. I tried it holstering at 3oclock and also 5 o’clock. I have always liked 4-5 o’clock so that is where it stayed.
It is as comfortable as my Raven without a question. The belt loops from Shepard seem to be more durable than Ravens though in my opinion. The holster works perfect with my Rayban belt and also my Wilderness tactical belt. So I assume most all belts will work fine with them.

Shepard Custom Concealment Mag holsters are also top of the line and comparable in quality to Raven.
I took a picture of mine next too my crossbreed iwb one... Bad mistake. IWB mag holsters are very uncomfortable.

Overall thoughts
When choosing a holster for a gun I have a tough time. I don't want to end up with junk and start a holster bin. I want top of the line. I am very happy with my holster from Shepard C C and I would get another for my next handgun no question! I love supporting local Michigan folks. Even more so when it's super cool stuff and high quality!
Comparing to a Fobus it's like night and day lol
