What was the best shot you made in archery. And what was your best score.

Never shot for score before, but I have made a couple 60 yard heart shots on deer.

Sorry, Tom, but to me, that post comes across as very harsh.

There is room here for more than one engraver, just like we have a variety of FFL's & firearm/CPL trainers. This guy is far East side Detroit, and we all know where Zip is. Then you hijack his thread by posting a link to Zip.

Even though we would like all members to be contributing, AFIK, that is not a criteria for listing your business or hobby/sideline, as you make it seem.

Ok I gotta know why the hostility toward this fella after you came to his aid some time ago?

I like in one side and out the other...right between the ribs.

Then, after a washdown and new razors, back in the quiver.

I used to have one arrow that had killed three bucks before I got it mixed up and lost track one evening when two decided that they wanted to sacrifice themselves to my kitchen table.

Targets? Not this kid... I am no archer at all, I just like to kill sheet.

I took out a chipmunk at 15 yards.....

Heck, that ain't nothin...I shot a pillow and whacked a bunch of dust mites.

Fortunately, you don't have to gut the darned things...

I've only shot 2 competitions in my life, both were MUCC State Shoots. The first shoot, I took 1st in the women's division, the following year....I lost to my partner. My downfall was that I'm really a hunter, not a target shooter. On one decoy, I shot as if I was going for the heart of the 3D target, and 3D is scored on the skin of the target. She beat me by a couple points.
I don't remember what the scores were....it wasn't important to me to remember the numbers.

I recall a long time ago we were shooting indoors-50' with the gold centered target. Bullseye worth 9 and then on down to about 4 or 5.

Stepped up and put the first 5 in the 9 ring-shot 6 arrows per end. I was worried about knocking a nock off one of the 5 in the gold. 6th arrow didnt even score.
