Combat Rifle Championships

The 2nd annual combat rifle championship match hosted by the American Confederation of Tactical Shooters (www.actshooters.com) will take place September 8th and 9th, 2007.

Last year's event was a tremendous success, and this year we expect more of the same. Two days of shooting with camping available and a steak dinner on Saturday evening.

Space is limited, and this match will restricted to 60 shooters, so early registration is encouraged. As of this post, there are only 49 slots available.

This year's major prizes will be lower receivers engraved with the ACTS logo for each of the division winners.

The overall match winner will receive a complete lower with an ACTS logo.
Since we do not know what division will bear the overall winner, the "complete" part of the lower will be in the form of a parts kit.

I am pleased to announce that Khalan Weaponry (http://www.khalan.com) will be this year's major sponsor.

In addition to these prizes, there will also be various gift certificates and doo dads from other sponsors. All prizes, aside from the Khalan lowers, will be awarded by drawing.

Match fee is only $60 this year.

Entry is limited to ACTS members only. A one year membership is only $30.

CRC is coming up quick, less than two months away.
If you're gonna shoot, I suggest registering before 1 August to avoid the increased match fee.

So....did Barbara kick everyone's butts at the championships? I wanna see the pics! I'll have to catch up on this when I get back into town...heading out tomorrow morning for 10-14 days in South Dakota.

she did well. me well i got behind in a few stages and was done in, i tried to play catch up and made middle of the pack took 4th in my division... cant win them all we had a great time.
