MGO Holiday fun shoot Friday December 28 at the Firingline, in Westland

The MGO Holiday fun shoot is Friday December 28 at Firingline, 6~7 meet & greet and 7 to 8:30 Range time, this is a free event!!!

We will be meeting in the classroom, please check in there first, not at the range, signs will be posted.

The Firingline is located at 33000 Ford rd, Westland Mi, 48185, for those who know the general area, that is on Ford rd. just west of Venory rd. on the north side.

This is a pot luck as usual, we welcome all, just some simple dessert type items or soft drinks are best bet.

We will also be holding the drawing for the MGO Gun of the year, ( eligible only for MGO event volunteers from this this past year, good luck to you all )

If you want to lock in a seat at the MGO table you can purchase tickets up until the fun shoot or sold out, seats are very limited.

This will be a fun night I hope to see a lot of MGO people there and this is a family and friends friendly event, so come on out!!!!

Ok, still, even it's fake, I am thinking Firingline would ask it was just left at home, the O'doul's I mean.
They would not be happy about that, you know, that non alco stuff still actyually has a very small amount of alco in it. Its not completely void of alcohol just so you know. It says it on the label

i went to the last fun shoot at FL a couple years ago. It was a lot of "Fun" lol great turn out out and met a lot of members. I cant make it this time due to a high school reunion I commited to already. Have Fun without me :cheers:

Had two clients ask questions about buying new guns in the last 24 hours. Guns they had never shot. THIS is what Fun Shoots are for: Try before you buy. Thinking of buying something? Post up and ask if anyone coming to the fun shoot has what you want to try. Chances are someone has it and you can shoot it at this event and MGO/Firing Line offer the range time free!

This is, as always, a MGO family and friends are welcome event, it is a great time to meet other members ftf, this imho, is the big part that is missing from the forum, a good reason to come early, everybody has a good time at these events.

Wwjmj's post # 16 is worth re-reading, it is a great opportunity to shoot different guns, keep in mind turnout could be 6 to 60, so to make sure everybody gets some range time, it is not the time to do serious troubleshooting or sight in that you might do on your own.

For anybody bringing a treat, we will have, paper plates, forks, napkins & cups for the convenience of all.

No, in addition this is their policy about ammunition taken from their website.

"AMMUNITION -RANGE -AMMUNITION
PISTOL RANGE AND RIFLE RANGE
The Firing Line does allow firearm owners to bring in there own ammunition as long as the ammunition is jacketted or semi jacketted. All Lead ammunition is NOT allow on the range.
PISTOL Range Rental guns require factory manufactured ammunition and must be purchased from us directly.

RIFLE Range you must purchase our ammunition."

Also everybody needs to fill out a range form, you can do it there or you can go here, fill it out & print and bring it with you to save time.

First Merry Christmas to ALL.

Second, I understand about the ammo, I reload and have a lot of lead target ammo and have noted their no lead, having said that, in concern for the rifle ammo, We can only ask when we get there, they have always been good to MGO, so they MIGHT maybe make an exception, if they, did it would have to pass by a magnet, that is the best I can tell you at this time.

If you catch any flak, look me up, and I'll handle it with Grant and Tommy. Particularly given the current ammo situation, ther'll be no issue.

Her grandparents might come too, they are thinking about getting their CPL(s) and haven't shot in "years".
