Can anyone help with information on any Hunter Safety classes in the Lansing area and surrounding, no more than an hour away?

Friends would like to enroll their child in a program asap, if one is available that fits their schedule.

Please post here, or PM, or email me with contact information. KayL

Kay,

Give Rick a call later on today or email him.

I know he was talking to me about putting one together soon.

Kay, I don't have the schedule at hand but Livingston Gun Club does Hunter Saftey classes. I think there is one in early September. Check at the LGC web site or email/call Jeff LaFave for info. Okay, I just looked and it is Oct 11th & 13th. It will be 6-9PM on Thursday and 9-5 on Saturday with range time.

M2A has classes at Gander Mtn. Pontiac. And I think there's one in Novi.

I can be at the Capital in an hour and 10 minutes so judge distance by that.

Have you looked on the DNR website? They have a list of classes and instructors that can be searched by county. Also, a friend of mine said that the Eaton County Sherriff's Department offers classes.

Thanks for the great leads. I'm checking into them all.
