1st ice with equipment problems, but i was rewarded

1st ice fishing of 2013. I meant to be out by noon, but Murphys law reared its ugly head. My auger leaked fuel from the tank grommet and had a broke flexible hose (Thank you Dons small engine repair in Plymouth for the VIP treatment) ..My fishing graphs unit battery had a weak cell so i picked up a new battery. I finally got to my secret destination @ 4:15. I fished til dark and was rewarded With these large gills and gigantic crappie. The Crappie went 11" - 13.5"!!!!

I was fishing on 3" of solid ice in Washtenaw county. A few 4 wheelers wanted to come and fish near me....i told them to walk over not drive over. :pirate:

I had a pretty good day on thursday for some big gills. I was in a not so private or secret area.
