Just a few days away now, I can use 1 volunteer for set-up on Tuesday the 19th, starting 1pm~1:30 on site.

If anybody wants to get on the Outdoorama crew you should let me know soon, I would prefer by wednsday the 13th.

For those of you that are on the roster, check the op, I have added a map to the booth, it is in a new location this year.

And if you are a first timer there are Directions to the Showplace in Novi.

It will be good to meet you and your family!

Will anyone on Saturday morning be bringing an AR-15?

Have mine on the table now and it really draws people in.

If you have one, bring it!

Mine isn't freshly oiled and cleaned, but I will bring it. I will try to clean it tonight along with an XD and bring both.

Booth is in a great spot there on the corner. I noticed people are a lot more passionate this year about their gun rights. more people seemed to walk up wanting to talk this year. Our presence there this year is more important than ever. Other than a few distractions pushing the beer cart back and forth everything went well :)

Working the NRA booth this afternoon I had several people comment on the MGO booth. Whenever I went to MGO the booth was full of workers and everyone was occupied talking to someone! Really appreciate the effort!

consider a handgun or two as well, the ar-15s and the xd drew people in today. the hunting guns are cool but the ones for self defense are what got people talking.

Or so HD shotgun? and my XDM... And when going into the show did anyone check your Firearms?

RaoulDuke
02-24-2013, 12:12 AM
They didn't check the cases I brought. I had a thumb hole stock 870 slug gun and a black 700 on a bipod. People are FAR more interested in the ar style rifles like CnA brought. Sexier goods for sure. Some people were interested in the size difference on the shell casings from the 223 and 30-06.

Reports are done, Outdoorama 2013 is in the books.

I can't say much about the show, in fact I can't talk at all, but I can still type.

Thank you to ALL the Volunteers YOU WERE AWESOME at the SHOW!!!

All of MGO should be proud of the job these members did to represent the Organization this weekend, This is what MGO is about!!

They all did a OUTSTANDING job, It was the best show ever IMHO.

It was a honor for me to work with all of you, A pleasure to meet those I have not met before and great to again see those I have worked with before.

We talked to a lot people of this weekend and passed out a ton of material and had a lot of fun!!

Members brought a wide variety of guns to show the public, from a muzzle loading pistol to a AR-15 pistol both were sweet! and a lot in between, Thanks guy's for bringing them! It did get everybody's attention!

The robot caper was funny! Sam and Tom feed off each other, it might be dangerous to let them get too close together in the booth, kinda like letting 2 radioactive materials get too close and going critical mass!
And I see that there are a few other characters to keep an eye on too ;)J/K !

Thanks again everybody for a job well done!!
You made it a fun show to work, no that's wrong it wasn't work, it was a pleasure because of you.

Please if you worked the show and are not on the activities committee, sign up!

Note; the pictures we ran at the show were used by permission of Oleg Volk and can be found at his web site http://a-human-right.com/ along with much more.

I appreciate the kind words Carl, but in my mind you deserve much of the credit. I got a small idea of all the hard work you put into it.

Thank you for all you do for these things.

I had a great time, and as for the robot thing, it had to be done, I had no control of the situation.
